この写真のチョコレートは近所の東山市場のチョコレート屋さんで買いました。ポーランドのチョコで２千円のところ、ただいま800円で売り出し中です。

最近、トムハンクス主演の「Forrest Gump(フォレスト・ガンプ(1994)」のシーンに触れる機会がありました。

フォレストのお母さんがよく言っていたという有名な台詞があります。

“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.(人生は一箱のチョコレートみたいなものよ。何がもらえるか（そのときまで）わからないの)”

今、チョコレートをひとつ選びながら、新しく始まる2022年度のクラスにワクワクしています。

I bought this chocolate box at a chocolate shop in the nearby Higashiyama market. This Polish chocolates usually cost 2,000 yen, but they are now on sale for 800 yen.

Recently, I had a chance to see a scene from “Forrest Gump (1994)” starring Tom Hanks.

There is a famous line that Forrest’s mother used to say.

“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re going to get.”

Now, as I pick out one of the chocolates, I am excited about the new classes of 2022.
