Christmas is just around the corner….

Hi, everyone! I hope you had a great week and that you are enjoying this still-wonderful weather.

Well, as many of you know, my brother and sister-in-law are finally here. They missed their domestic flight from Haneda to Nagasaki, so they had to spend the night at the airport in Tokyo! They got here on the first flight the next morning, though. We’re having a great time.

Tomorrow we all plan to go to Kumamoto Castle and Mt. Aso. We’ll take B.B. (our dog) along for the ride. I’m hoping for good weather so we can eat our bento lunches outside somewhere.

Time flies when you are having fun, so I know this special time will finish too quickly. Everyone please remember to appreciate the people in your life who make it wonderful. Sometimes we take too much for granted.

It’s hard to believe that December is here. I hear Christmas carols in the stores, see the lights twinkling and see the Christmas trees. I admit to being a little bit homesick! Home is where your heart is, though, and my heart is right here in Omura.

Have a great week, everyone!
