コースブック　WE CAN!のフォニックスワークブックです。文字についても、発音についても、子どもができるレベルを細かに分けて設定し、「できる」感覚を積み重ねていくテキストです。例えば単語を聞く→はじめの文字をなぞる　→　線の上に書く　これを26文字すべて順番にやる。CDを聞いて言う、単語を指さして言うｌ、キーワードを言う。このひとつひとつができたとき、ページ下のチェック欄にしるしをつける。こつこつと繰り返し、積み上げます。もちろん次第に難易度は上がります。初めの音。終わりの音を聞き取り、書く。簡単な文章を読む。穴埋め問題や音当てもあります。次第に動物や食べ物の名前などが読めるようになります。巻末の単語カードを使ってゲームができます。CDと併用して宿題にすることもできるでしょう。指導書では丁寧に解説されています。東京都：N先生
